Although the club is quite small and many of its members have only been shooting a few months or years, many of our members have made some noticeable achievements, although none has yet matched those of our Honorary President, Barry Simpson,
World and European FITASC sporting champion, twice British sporting champion, English and British FITASC sporting champion and Classic sporting champion. He has represented England and Great Britain many times as a member of the Sporting and FITASC teams. |

We are particularly proud of our Junior/Colt members, many of whom have been introduced to the sport at Country Pursuits. In particular Phil Gray has won county and regional colt titles in Sporting, Sportrap and FITASC, while Michael Simpson is representing his country for the juniors in FITASC, and winning many other junior titles as well including County Sportrap. Michael has also been shooting for England in the Home International Sporting. |

In the Ladies we have Gill Gordon, ex-Cambridgeshire ladies' Sportrap champion, and Sarah Christensen, currently in the Cambridgeshire DTL, Skeet, and All Round teams. |

The achievements amongst the seniors are almost too many to mention, but include numerous members of Cambridgeshire teams (many of them called Simpson), and Bob Pitt, Captain of the Cambridgeshire Skeet team. |

Brian Dunbavin, as well as being the first person to score 50 out of 50 in our Open competition (a feat since only equalled by Barry Simpson), achieved the notable feat of winning the East Midlands ZZ Helice tournament in his first ever shoot in that discipline. |

Josh Pearson, a mere 10 years old, impressed everyone with his performance in the members' trophy competition on 24/4/05, putting in a fine score with 32ex50. He has been shooting for only a little over a year, so we can only speculate how good he will get in years to come. Watch this space! |
